Having a close relationship with the software publishers has its merits – Software Exchange is able to obtain prompt presales and post-sales support. This translates to quick response to issues raised regarding deliverables, and savings on software investments from choosing the right licensing options for its clients. The company is also able to help SMBs save by recommending them second-hand software. To further enhance the relationship with its customers, Software Exchange created two programmes – the “Customer Care Programme” and “Guaranteed Buy-Back Programme” – to ensure that the value of its clients’ software investments are protected. As of August 2006, there’re more than 2,300 items listed in the online store. Here is a brief introduction to its parent company – Software Exchange (Singapore) Pte Ltd was founded in June 1999. It is the first-of-its-kind business established in Singapore to make the ownership of genuine software more affordable, by “recycling” used and legally transferable software.
