In the educational area it provides continuing educational programs for the health care industry as part of its effort to improve the quality of health care professionals from Malaysia and other ASEAN countries. In the travel industry, too, it has leveraged its 30 years of experience in working with Saudi customizing tourist packages for in-bound travel into Malaysia. Currently, the travel arm is working out specific packages to promote health tourism and wellness packages into Malaysia. The Melorita Group was recognized by the international community and awarded the international Business Superbrand award in 2006. The Company was founded by Dr. Mohamed Sultan, himself a pioneer in the health care and recruitment industry in Malaysia. He is currently the Chairman of the Group and provides the direction and support to its range of business activities. Armand Abdullah is the group CEO/managing director. Trained as an accountant, he brings with him over 15 years of experience in management, strategic planning and finance. His vision for the Company is to elevate it into a Malaysian conglomerate with specific business ties with Saudi Arabian businesses. Mohamed Azmi Sultan is the Executive Director of the Company and is leading the Recruitment Mobilization Unit. With 10 years’ experience in the logistics industry, he is well-qualified to ensure the deployment of candidates in Saudi Arabia. Mary Elizabeth is the Executive Director of the Company and heads Health Care Recruitment. Trained in the US, she has been with the company since its inception and has a thorough understanding of the intricacies of health care recruitment. Mohamed Ariff Sultan is the executive director of the Travel Business. He has been involved in travel, MICE and event management programs for the past 20 years. A former sales director for a leading hotel chain, he provides each customer with specific packages to suit his needs.
