Natural bristle brush is actually made from animal hair and is very soft and porous. For oil-based paints, shellacs and varnishes, most professional painters choose a natural bristle brush.

Bristles come in many different lengths and thickness to produce a brush with good paint absorption. Bristle also has the softest and spilt tips, is provide a good release of paint for the smoothest finish.

Black bristle is the mainstay of the professional painter. Long recognised for its ability to hold and deliver more paint than any other material. It is boiled under pressure for absolute thorough cleaning and bristle straightening.

White bristle is the choice for high quality oil-based paints and varnishes. Slightly softer than black bristle, these brushes have good paint pick up and release and allow paints to flow smoothly from their tips.
