Meridians Japanese Healing Arts
acupuncture, Stress, back pain
Japanese acupuncture is very different from Chinese acupuncture in at least three ways:
• The needles are much finer
• The insertion is more shallow
• Some styles (Toyohari) use ‘touch needling’, the stimulation of points without needle insertion
Japanese acupuncture is therefore an alternative for people who are wary of needles and for shildren, who don't like them. Meridians is the only clinic in the whole of South East Asia that provides Toyohari treatment.
